QUETTA, Nov 27: Balochistan Population Welfare Minister Nasreen Khetran has condemned police raids on her residence and guest house in Barkhan and demanded action against police officials concerned.

Speaking at press conference here on Monday, she said that police had conducted the raids on November 21 and 26 but found no private jail or any prisoner as had been reported by some people.

"Police conducted the raids at the behest of my opponents who are involved in kidnapping and other crimes," Mrs Khetran claimed. —Staff Correspondent
