KARACHI, Nov 27: At 21 vehicles and 72 mobile phones were taken away by bandits in different parts of the city on Monday. Police sources said three cars were snatched at gunpoint and 13 were reported stolen.

Similarly, two motorcycles were snatched at gunpoint and three reported stolen.

Police sources said 25 cellphones were snatched at gunpoint and 43 reported stolen while four handsets were reported missing on Monday.

JOURNALIST: A senior journalist was deprived of his car outside the Civic Centre in Gulshan-i-Iqbal on Monday.

K.M. Sharif said he had parked his car (K-4113) outside the city government head office from where it was stolen.

He went to the Aziz Bhatti police station where he informed the police about the incident.
