LAKKI MARWAT: 60 held in Lakki Marwat

LAKKI MARWAT, Nov 20: Police have arrested about 60 alleged criminals and seized illegal weapons and other contraband items from their possession, officials said. The district police had launched a drive against criminals in collaboration with the Frontier Constabulary and raided various hideouts.

During the raids police apprehended about 60 criminals who were wanted in murder, attempt to murder, burglary, kidnapping, carjacking and other cases of heinous nature.

Police also seized illegal weapons including 11 Kalashnikov assault rifles, two Kalakov assault rifles, five rifles, 12 guns, 12 pistols, two hand-grenades, 879 bullets and 5 kg hashish.
