SHAKAI, Nov 19: A jirga in Shakai on Sunday warned people against providing shelter to foreigners, saying they would face dire consequences of they sheltered foreigners.

According to a private television, the tribal jirga was held in Shakai region of the North Waziristantribal agency under chief of the Ahmed Zai tribe Malik Noor Muhammad. It was participated by many other local tribal chiefs. The jirga ordered the people to expel all foreigners from the area and to cooperate with security forces and the local political administration.—Online
