LAHORE, Nov 18: An English thoroughbred with an excellent race-record at the international racing circuit, Conflict, has been brought here for stud duty in the quest for boosting English thoroughbred breeding in Pakistan.

The ten-year-old bay horse, Conflict, a progeny of English sire Warning out-of- La Dama Bonita (USA) bred at Stratford Place Stud had an enviable race record to his credit. A grandson of Known Fact (USA), Conflict had registered one-and-a-half dozen wins, three seconds and as many third in his nearly 40 outings. He was rated among the best milers of his time. The Lahore Race Club (LRC) had arranged a film show of Conflict's couple of victories on its close circuit TV network for race-goers Sunday last.
