Kamran, Afridi skittle NBP for 225

KARACHI, Nov 18: Paceman Kamran Hussain and Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi, bowling his leg-breaks, shared seven wickets between them as HBL took first-innings lead on the second day of their four-day Patrons Trophy grade-I match against National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) at the UBL Sports Complex on Saturday.

Kamran grabbed four wickets for 43 runs while Afridi took three for 35 runs as NBP, responding to HBL’s first innings score of 266, bowled out for 225.

Imran Nazir smashed 79 with the help of 12 boundaries and a six while Fawwad Alam hit eight boundaries for his 69.

At the end of day’s play, HBL scored 81 for loss of four wickets in second innings.
