Quetta receives heavy rain

QUETTA, Nov 17: Most parts of the province, including Quetta, received rain on Friday which continued intermittently throughout the day. Drizzling started in Quetta on Thursday evening. The city received heavy rain late in the night, which continued on Friday.

Quetta received 8mm rain till Friday morning, Zhob received 22.2mm, Kalat 2mm and Dalbandin received 10.1mm rain.

The Met office has forecast more rain during the next 24 hours in Quetta and adjoining areas and the maximum temperature is likely to remain between 15 and 17 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature between 9 and 11 degree Celsius.

On Friday, the maximum temperature in Quetta was recorded at 18.5 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature at 9.5 degree Celsius.

In Balochistan, the maximum temperature was recorded at 29.5 degree Celsius at Nokkundi and the minimum temperature at 6 degree Celsius at Kalat.—APP
