HYDERABAD, Nov 17: A delegation of the Sindh Qaumi Ittehad (SQI) will leave here for Karachi on Saturday to meet Mumtaz Ali Bhutto and appeal to him to withdraw his resignation as chairman of the SQI.

The decision to this effect was taken at a meeting held between STP chairman Dr Qadir Magsi, noted intellectual Mohammad Ibrahim Joyo, SNF leader Mohammad Ayub Shar and Nazeer Ahmed Memon, here on Friday.

They discussed the situation arising out of the resignation of Mumtaz Bhutto from the chairmanship of the SQI. They were of the opinion that keeping in view the situation obtaining in Sindh, it was extremely necessary to keep the alliance intact.

They said that anti-Sindh forces were trying to swallow the resources of Sindh and hatched a conspiracy to expel the Sindhi-speaking people from Karachi and divide Sindh.
