LAKKI MARWAT, Nov 15: The Lakki Marwat District Council on Wednesday asked local schools and the literacy department to furnish record of teachers' recruitment and transfers by Nov 25.

Executive District Officer, Education, Attaullah Khan told the council that merit had been strictly followed in the appointments and transfers.

He said transfer orders of headmasters of high schools were issued after taking approval from the provincial authorities.

The members demanded that steps should be taken to make functional schools built under the Social Action Plan some years back.
