Protest against military operation

QUETTA, Nov 15: The Baloch Students Organisation (BSO) and All-Pakistan Clerks’ Association (APCA) on Wednesday held separate demonstrations. BSO activists gathered outside the local press club on Wednesday and protested against the military operation in Balochistan, arrests of political workers by intelligence agencies and appointment of a retired army officer as the vice-chancellor of Balochistan University.

Student leaders criticised the appointment of Balochistan University’s vice-chancellor and said that his policies were creating problems for Baloch students.

Earlier, APCA members assembled in front of the press club and shouted slogans against the chairman of the Water and Sanitation Authority (Wasa) and the director of the excise and taxation department and said that they were victimising the employees in the respective government departments.
