ZTBL outclass National Bank

KARACHI, Nov 14: Zarai Taraqiati Bank Ltd (ZTBL) outclassed reigning champions National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) defeating them by an innings and 11 runs in their Patrons Trophy grade-I match at the NBP Sports Complex on Tuesday.

NBP, which had been forced to follow on after getting out for 202 in reply to ZTBL’s first innings total of 440, failed again in the second innings and managed to score only 227.

Fawwad Alam scored 47 unbeaten runs in 165 minutes with four boundaries.

Rao Iftikhar took three wickets for 59 runs in 17 overs and Naeem Anjum grabbed three wickets for 60 runs in 27.4 overs for the winners.
