LAHORE, Nov 14: An anti-terrorism court on Tuesday awarded death sentence to three convicts and life imprisonment to as many others in a kidnap-for-ransom case.

Sheikhupura police last year had arrested six accused on charges of kidnapping lawyer Mohammad Basharat and setting him free on payment of ransom.

Of them, Gulzar, Zakarya and Boota were awarded death sentence and Fazal, Masood and Hafeez life imprisonment.
