HYDERABAD, Nov 14: The district government has given nine more hydraulic trucks to taluka administrations for lifting garbage from three urban talukas of the district.

A spokesman for the district government said on Tuesday that 25 hydraulic trucks had been handed over to the taluka administrations and 16 more would be delivered to them during the next month.

The spokesman said that hydraulic trucks would be given to different union councils for lifting garbage and keeping the city neat and clean.

At a simple ceremony, held at the district nazim secretariat, the chairman of the district works and services committee, Munawar Khanzai, handed over the keys of four trucks to Dr Arif Razmi of Latifabad taluka, four trucks to Yousuf Mukhtar of City taluka and one truck to Qasimabad TMO (infrastructure) Ghulam Haider Pirzado.

After the distribution, each union of Qasimabad taluka has been supplied one hydraulic truck.
