Pervez helps ARL with timely century

KARACHI, Nov 13: Pervez Aziz hit an unbeaten century to help Attock Refinery Ltd (ARL) stage a good fight-back against Customs on the third day of their Patrons Trophy grade-I four-day match at the UBL Sports Complex on Monday.

Right-handed Pervez in his innings of 113 hit nine boundaries and three sixes. He stayed at the crease for 330 minutes as ARL scored 305 for loss of nine wickets in reply to Customs first innings total of 379.

Opener Imran Ali cracked 61 with the help of six boundaries in his 244-minute stay at the wicket.

Customs pace duo of Uzair-ul-Haq and Rizwan Akbar caused much of the damage by taking three wickets each.
