Azhar for dismissal of govt

Published November 14, 2006

LAHORE, Nov 13: Former PML-Q president Mian Azhar has called for the dismissal of the government and the assemblies and the formation of a national government to hold fresh election.

In a press statement on Monday, the former Punjab governor held the present assemblies responsible for the multiple problems facing the country.

He said it was regrettable that ‘looters’ were running the party and sincere workers had no role to play.

In case the present system was allowed to continue, the very existence of the country would be in danger, Azhar warned. —Staff Reporter
