KARACHI, Nov 11: Upcoming Pakistani youngster Basit Ashfaq overcame first hurdle in the US Open squash championship by defeating local player Preston Quick in a qualifying round match at Boston on Saturday.
According to details available here, Basit held his nerves to thrash his opponent 8-11, 11-5, 11-8, 11-10 (2-0).
