Operation against ‘suspects’

LAHORE, Nov 11: The police launched a sudden search operation in the city on Saturday night to take ‘suspects’ into custody.

The operation was launched in the wake of President Musharraf’s presence in the city, conclusion of Tableeghi moot on Sunday and to further intensify efforts against the criminals, sources said.

A meeting of SPs was held here on Saturday with DIG (operations) Aamir Zulfikar Khan in the chair.
