Hands of two sisters ‘amputated’

BAHAWALPUR, Nov 5: Human right activists are alarmed at reports of amputation of hands of two sisters near Khanpur, Rahimyar Khan.

Reports reaching here suggest that Aslam and his brother Akhtar allegedly chopped off the hands of Zahida and her sister.

The motive behind the gruesome act is stated to be the Aslam’s annoyance with his wife Zahida who went to her parents house without his consent.

The police registered a case only against Aslam.

CONVENTION: The PML-N is all set to hold its workers’ convention here at Jajja house on Monday.

The workers of three districts would participate in the convention to listen the telephonic address of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif. — Correspondent
