PESHAWAR, Nov 5: Federal Political Affairs Minister Amir Muqam has said that the Pakistan Muslim League leadership is working for the fulfilment of the aspirations of the common man.

Speaking at a public gathering in Shangla after the inauguration of electricity supply to Shapur area, he said that PML’s popularity graph was rising because of its policies and it would sweep the elections in 2007.

He said the PML leadership respected party workers.

The NWFP PML chief said large projects launched by the government would benefit the people. He said the country was progressing because of prudent policies of the government.

The government, he said, had given unprecedented freedom to the press and political parties to strengthen democracy.

He said electricity would also be supplied to other areas.—APP
