FAISALABAD, Nov4: Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Dr Farooq Sattar has said that his party is struggling to bring a true democracy in the country.
He was addressing members of the Faisalabad Bar Council on Saturday.
Sattar condemned the Bajaur agency operation and said it was mandatory for the government to take political parties into confidence before the operation.
Announcing the election policy of the MQM, he said his party would accommodate poor workers during the next general election.
GANGS: Deputy inspector general of police (operations) Mohammad Aslam Tareen claimed to have busted 11 gangs involved in different crimes.
The gangs were arrested during the last month.
He said by arresting 51 members of these gangs police recovered stolen property, including 15 cars, six motorcycles, 18 mobile phones, gold ornaments and cash.
