KARACHI, Nov 3: The four-match veterans hockey series between Pakistan and India, scheduled to be held from Nov 17, has been postponed, Secretary General, Pakistan Veterans Hockey Association (PWHA) Islahuddin Siddiqui said on Friday.

The former Olympian said he received a call from his Indian counter-part Koko Walia who requested him to postpone the series for the time being.

He said fresh dates for the series will be decided in consultation with the two associations.

Indian veterans hockey team was due to arrive in Pakistan in the next few days to play four matches in Faisalabad, Gojra, Sheikhupura and Lahore.—APP
