Aerial firing claims life

MANDI BAHAUDDIN, Nov 3: A boy died and another injured when members of a marriage party resorted to aerial firing on Thursday evening at a village near Shadiwaal, some 30 kms from here.

According to details, the marriage party of Shahid Iqbal, a resident of Kaddhar, visited Chak 30. Imtiaz Ahmed, one of the participants, resorted to aerial firing that resulted in the death of 8th class student Kabir Ahmad and injuries to another. When Miana Gondal police reached the spot, the family of the deceased refused to file a case and termed the killing an accident. — Correspondent
