KARACHI: MBBS exam results announced

KARACHI, Nov 3: The examinations department, University of Karachi, on Friday announced the results of Third Professional MBBS Supplementary Examination 2006.

According to a KU notification, candidates with seat numbers; 42001, 42002, 42006, 42015, 42017, 42018, 42047, 42048, 42059, 42110, 42148, 42162, 42206, 42209, 42217, 42224, 42226, 42240, 42305, 42319, 42386, 42400, 42413, 42426, 42477, 42487, 42488, 42508, 42509, 42515, 42524, 42539, 42542, 42604, 42607, 42609, 42610, 42613, 42614, 42628, 42631, 42633, 42636, 42639, 42645, 42660, 42672, 42688, 42690, 42702, 42725, 42731, 42746, 42763, 42780, 42806, 42809, 42810, 42812, 42815, 42849, 42853, 42855, 42856, 42861, 42867 and 42870 were declared pass.

A total of 102 students registered with KU exam department, of which only 67 passed it. The pass percentage remained 66.34.

BL results: The examinations department of Karachi University on Friday announced the results of first year of Bachelor of Law annual rxamination 2006.

As many as 1421 students were registered with KU exam department. Of them, 1290 appeared in the examination and only 575 passed it. The pass percentage remained 44.57.

The results of students having seat numbers; 40642, 40643, 40644, 40645, 40646, 40647, 40648, 40649, 40650, 40651, 40652, 40653, 40654 and 41711 were withheld due to incomplete enrolment. The results of candidates of seat number; 40022, 40033, 40045, 40064, 40076, 40235, 40261, 40282, 40328, 40333, 40396, 40431, 40452, 40455, 40608, 41084, 41109, 41213 and 41703 were withheld for using unfair means.—PPI
