Six die in DG Khan bus crash

DERA GHAZI KHAN, Nov 1: Six people died on Wednesday night when a bus carrying a marriage party plunged into a dry nullah near Mauza Darkhawst Jamal, 50 km from here.

The death toll might rise as a number of injured people were trapped in the bus wreckage till the last reports.

Police said that the wedding party was on way to Dajil from Sakhi Sarwar when the bus fell into the drain while crossing a dilapidated bridge. Bodies of Ghulam Akbar, Zafar, Sameeullah, Ibraheem, Ikram and Riaz had been retrieved while 20 people were trapped in the wreckage.

The police said that over two dozen injured had been rushed to the Jampur civil hospital.
