Security steps for Eid

LAHORE, Oct 24: Police have taken special measures to ensure law, order and peace during Eid holidays. Some 2,000 additional policemen have been deputed for Eid festivities at sensitive places of the city. Ten groups of mounted police have also been deputed around mosques, eidgahs, imambargahs, markets and other public places.

The faithful will be checked with metal detectors in big mosques, eidgahs and other places of congregation for Eid prayers. —APP
