Nine die in accident

SHIKARPUR, Oct 22: Nine people, two of them children, were killed and seven others injured when a truck rammed into a wagon near Mirza Wah on Khanpur-Kandhkot road on Sunday.

The wagon was coming from Kandhkot to Larkana when the truck collided with it. The truck driver escaped after the accident.

The deceased area: Police Constable Kifayat Ali Junejo of Kandhkot; Asghar Maseh of Khanpur; Lal Bibi Jakhrani, 30, and Channa Jakhrani, 32, of Kandhkot; Dur Mohammad Chachar, 10, of Kandhkot; Hafiz Mohammad Umar Mangi of Khanpur; Abdul Ghani Kalhoro, Lal Pari and six-year-old Parvezan.

Khanpur police have registered a case.
