LAHORE, Oct 22: The glamour and glory of two prestigious events, Pakistan Oaks and Pakistan St Leger 2006 will be the positive aspects of the Lahore Winter Meetings to be held at the Racecourse in November and December, respectively.

The Lahore Race Club (LRC) has directed race-horse owners, trainers and their authorized agents that those desirous to run their horses in the two events should submit entries by Oct 29 at the latest.

The two events, crowning the meeting races, are a term race for four-year-old colts and fillies and will be held in both over the distance of 2000 metres.

They are so arranged to give maximum chance to four-year-old colts and fillies to exhibit test of their speed, stamina and endurance before retiring for stud duty.—AG
