NEW DELHI, Oct 20: Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri did not make any comment on the proposed hanging of Kashmiri convict Mohammed Afzal Guru, according to a senior Pakistani diplomat.

“We can say it with authority that the foreign minister has not made any comment on the matter pertaining to the death sentence, either to the media or at any public forum,” Pakistan’s Deputy High Commissioner Afrasiab told Dawn.

Bharatiya Janata Party president Rajnath Singh was quoted by the Press Trust of India as condemning the alleged remarks.
