2 policemen killed in Kashmir

SRINAGAR, Oct 17: Two policemen were killed and 14 people injured in separate attacks by suspected militants in held Kashmir on Tuesday, police said. A policeman was shot dead by militants near the summer capital Srinagar’s main bus terminal, and shortly afterwards another policeman was shot dead near the Hazratbal shrine, also in Srinagar. Police also said suspected militants raided a house in Poonch district on Monday night, wounding four people.—AFP
