Qaiser excels

KARACHI, Oct 16: Former Test player Qaiser Abbas produced a splendid all-round show as Mohammad Hussain CC (MHCC) overwhelmed NJC CC by 155 runs in the 1st Southend Twenty20 Ramazan cricket tournament on Sunday.

Qaiser clubbed 11 boundaries in his 43-ball knock of 73 and Wajihuddin smashed an unbeaten 68 off 31 balls with nine fours and one six as MHCC raced to 216 for eight in 20 overs.

NJCCC, in reply, were bundled out for 61 in 19.3 overs with Qaiser claiming three wickets for just four runs.
