SUKKUR, Oct 13: A civil judge conducted a raid on the Mirpur Mathelo police station on Thursday and got two men kept in illegal detention for three days freed.

Reports reaching here said that Sanaullah Samejo filed an application in the court of district and sessions judge, Ghotki, stating that police had arrested his brother, Mir Samejo, and kept him in illegal confinement for three days without any charge.

The judge ordered the civil judge of Mirpur Mathelo, Shahabuddin Mohammadi, who raided the police station and got Mir Samejo and Afzal Malik freed.
