KARACHI, Oct 13: Nazim of Gulshan-i-Iqbal Town Wasay Jalil said on Friday that the graves falling in the limits of Gulshan and Gulberg towns would soon be shifted to clear way for the Lyari Expressway.

He said this while visiting the land specified in Scheme-33 near Northern bypass for shifting of affected graveyards of two towns.

Meanwhile, he took notice of encroachments on the land meant for graveyard in UC-13.

According to an official handout, one Yaroo Gabol has occupied the land. The Nazim directed demolition of the boundary wall erected by the encroacher.

Pir Illahi Bux Colony UC-3 Nazim Syed Liaquat Ali said on Friday that the UC had had cleared encroachments in its area and special attention is being paid to its cleanliness and development.

Liaquat Ali said that demolition of encroachments had resulted in smooth flow of vehicular traffic and greatly facilitated citizens.—PPI
