Fine spell by Wasim

LAHORE, Oct 10: Devastating bowling by Wasim Ahmed helped Yousaf XI of LCCA East Zone carve out a slim five-run win against Majeed XI in the Ameer Abdullah Khan Rokri Twenty20 cricket tournament at Model Town ground on Tuesday.

Wasim captured five wickets for 12 runs as Majeed XI were all out for 125 in 19.3overs while chasing a target of 130.

For the winners, Majid remained top scorer with 44.

In another match, Manzoor Khan XI West Zone outclassed Muzaffar XI East Zone by four wickets.

Set to score 133, Manzoor XI romped home for the loss of six wickets in 18 overs. Waqar Ahmed remained top scorer with unbeaten 43.
