Family feud claims two lives

MARDAN, Oct 8: Two people were killed in a shootout folowing a family feud here on Saturday. Amanat and Faqir Taj were allegedly shot dead by their rivals Fayyaz, Dilzada and Mohammad Sher in the Qamargai area.

In another incident, Mohammad Kamal was shot dead allegedly by his neighbour Asad Iqbal in the Shahbaz Garhi area.

In the Lundkhwar area, a man was killed allegedly by his neighbour over a petty dispute.

SUICIDE: A married woman committed suicide just before Iftar on Saturday in the Mandoori Hoti locality here.

She was taken to the hospital in an unconscious state but she did not survive.

The victim was the wife of , a resident of Mandoori Hoti.

According to the police, the motive behind the suicide was a domestic dispute.
