Bandit shot dead by police

KARACHI, Oct 8: Police on Sunday shot dead an alleged bandit while his two accomplices fled in Clifton area. Police said that three armed bandits barged into the house of Mohammad Iqbal in Boat Basin area. A police mobile reached the area after being informed about the incident by someone from the neighbourhood.

A shootout ensued, during which one bandit, Mohammad Sharif, was killed, while his two accomplices fled.

Police seized a TT pistol.
