Farman claims hat-trick

KARACHI, Oct 6: Fast medium bowler Farman Shah claimed a hat-trick to put Pak Gymkhana into the quarter-finals of the 21st Karachi Gymkhana AKD Ramzan Twenty20 Cricket Tournament beating A.O.CC by seven wickets at KG Ground on Friday.

Farman clean-bowled Muhammad Asim, Noman Akram and Pakistan discard Hasan Raza on successive balls to complete three in a row feat.

Talented Farman finished with four wickets for 25 runs as AOCC were restricted to 128-9 in their 20 overs.

Pak Gymkhana in reply reached the target in 14 overs for the loss of three wickets. Opener Shahid Baig hit eight fours and a pair of sixes in his 29-ball knock.
