MULTAN, Oct 6: Shopkeepers beat up two women at a market when one of them ate a traditional delicacy during fasting hours on Friday.

Yasmin Bibi told the Lohari Gate police that she has come with a relative, Firdaus Bibi, for shopping at Chowk Bazaar. Unable to keep fast because of ailment, Firdaus Bibi took some eatable from a nearby shop. Seeing her eating, she said, Wajid Javed and his three colleagues beat them up and snatched money from them.

The Lohari Gate police have registered a case.
