HYDERABAD, Oct 6: The owner of a bangle factory was gunned down in the Fort police area near Shahbaz petrol pump on Friday.

Reports said that Mohammad Hanif was returning home after drawing Rs250,000 from the MCB cloth market branch.

When he was about to reach his home in Allahdad Chand Goth, he suspected that someone was following him.

Suddendly three armed bandits intercepted him and robbed the cash.

He was severely beaten up with pistol butts.

The bandits open fired when Hanif’s brother attacked them with bricks. Hanif was hit by a bullet and died on the spot.

The Fort police said that no FIR had been lodged about the incident.
