PESHAWAR, Oct 5: Three people were injured in a bomb blast in the parking lot of the Lady Reading Hospital here on Thursday.

The injured were rushed to the casualty ward of the same hospital. They are stated to be out of danger.

The bomb that exploded with a big bang around 7:30pm also damaged three vehicles and shattered the windowpanes of the cardiology ward of the hospital.

Police officials, present on the spot, told newsmen that it was a gas cylinder that caused the explosion.

However, they failed to show the remains of any cylinder there. This is the third such explosion in the city since Sept-ember 23.—Bureau Report
