Official robbed near Mirali

MIRAMSHAH, Oct 3: Masked men deprived a government official of Rs105,000 near Mirali in the North Waziristan Agency on Tuesday, officials said.

They said that the Agency’s education officer Gul Nawaz was proceeding in his official vehicle from Bannu to Miramshah when the bandits who were in a car took over his vehicle and parked their car in front of his vehicle.

The official told political authorities that the armed men came out of their car, robbed him and also whisked away his vehicle near Khadi village on Mirali-Miramshah road.
