KARACHI, Oct 2: The administrative judge of the anti-terrorism courts in Karachi on Monday sent two accused, facing kidnapping for ransom charges, to jail and directed the investigation officer to submit a charge sheet against them.

Police said the accused kidnapped three-and-a-half-year-old boy Fawad on Sept 18 in the Pirabad area and received Rs200,000 as ransom for his release.

The accused also abducted five-year-old Zainul Abideen in Orangi Town and received Rs50,000 as ransom in August. They were produced before Justice Amir Hani Muslim of the Sindh High Court. —PPI
