Robbers loot Rs1.6m, three cars

RAWALPINDI, Sept 29: Three cars and Rs1.6 million cash were stolen in seven different robbery incidents in the last 24 hours, police said.

In the first incident, a gang of four robbers entered the house of Mohammad Asim in Asghar Mall Scheme and held his family at gunpoint on Thursday night.

The robbers ransacked the house and escaped with Rs1 million, gold ornaments and four cell phones after locking the inmates inside.
