ISLAMABAD, Sept 27: The Election Commission has asked the members of the Senate, national and provincial assemblies to submit annual statements of assets and liabilities of them, their spouses and dependents by September 30.

An official statement issued on Wednesday said that the chief election commissioner would by October 15 notify the names of the lawmakers who failed to file the statements within the specified period and issue directives that such members ceased to function till the statements were submitted.

It said that prescribed forms were available at the Election Commission secretariat here and the offices of the provincial election commissioners.
