Fine knock by Adnan

LAHORE, Sept 25: A fine knock of 25-ball 48 by Adnan Butt enabled West Zone Eleven to beat North Zone by 11-runs in the inaugural match of the first Mir Abdullah Khan Rokri memorial Twenty20 cricket Cup at the LCCA ground on Monday.

Adnan hit two sixes and five fours as West Zone piled up 156 for seven in 20 overs. Asim Khursheed finshed with three for 37.

In reply, North Zone gave a tough time through a hurricane knock from Faisal Jawaid, who struck 30-ball 42. But they were all out for 145 in 19 overs.

For the winners, Hafiz Zahid captured three wickets for only 18 runs.
