Zone-I Whites win U-17 title

KARACHI, Sept 23: Zone-I Whites lifted the KCCA Inter-zonal Under-17 Cricket Championship when they beat Zone-II Blues by six wickets at the KCCA Stadium on Friday.

Spinner Sajid Khan played a key role in his team’s triumph by taking four for 11 in six overs.

Batting first, Zone-II Blues crashed to 134 in 39.3 overs. Faizan Shafique top-scored with 32.

Tabish Nawab and Sajid Rizvi took two wickets each for 23 and 25 runs respectively.

Zone-I Whites reached the target for the loss of four wickets with Ramiz Aziz making 48 and Abdul Rehman 39
