HYDERABAD, Sept 23: Leaders of the Hyderabad chapter of the Pakistan Muslim League have accused ‘miscreants’ and ‘terrorists’ of resorting to firing on party’s public meeting in Latifabad on Friday.

Speaking at a press conference at the press club on Saturday, Samiuddin Sajid said that the party had arranged a public meeting in Latifabad-10 to announce an Eid package on behalf of Captain Haleem Siddiqui and to pay tribute to the Pak Army and Rangers for providing relief to rain-affected people.

He said that some miscreants resorted to firing and destroyed the transformer to create panic and harassment.

The PML leader demanded that central and provincial leadership of the party and the district nazim should take notice of the incident and ensure that an FIR was registered against terrorists.
