UBL Ramazan Gold Cup from Monday

KARACHI, Sept 22: The UBL Ramazan Gold Cup Cricket Tournament will be held at the UBL Sports Complex ground from September 25, organisers announced on Friday.

A prize money of Rs100,000 will be on offer in the competition which is being contested among top 8 teams of the city including Citibank, Standard Chartered Bank, Dubai Islamic Bank, Jaffar Brothers, ABN Amro Bank, NIB Bank, Saudi-Pak Bank and UBL Staff.

The competition will be played on double league basis and the winning team will get Rs50,000 while runners-up Rs25,000. Standard Chartered Bank will take on Dubai Islamic Bank in the inaugural match. Daniyal Sports is conducting the tournament. —APP
