LAHORE, Sept 21: Poor batting display from top order denied Pakistan an opportunity to square the four-match one-day series against India Under-19 who went 2-0 up after winning the second game by seven-runs at Sheikhupura Stadium on Thursday.

Fine bowling from Pakistan captain Riaz Kail and Imad Wasim, who shared seven wickets between them, restricted the visiting side to 224.

Pakistan made a shaky start to their innings and were soon reduced to 84-4 before Imad and Riaz again came to their team’s rescue, but their efforts were not enough.
