HYDERABAD, Sept 21: The Sindh chapter of the Pakistan-India People’s Forum for Peace and Democracy has criticised railway departments of India and Pakistan for the inordinate delay in resuming the service of Thar Express.

In a statement issued here on Thursday, forum leaders Mir Sikandar Talpur, Khursheed Shaikh, Zafar Rajput and Abbas Ali Jafri said that work on repair of the Khokhropar-Munabao railway track was proceeding at a snail’s pace.

They said appealed to prime ministers of Pakistan and India to take notice of lethargy of officials of railway departments of the two countries as the people of Sindh were feeling restive.
