India U-19 in sight of win

RAWALPINDI, Sept 9: Pakistan under-19, requiring 446 for victory against India, were tottering at 63-5 in their second innings on the third day of the four-day match at Pindi Cricket Stadium here on Saturday.

Earlier, India Under-19 declared their second innings closed on 303-6 after resuming at overnight score of 42-0, setting Pakistan Under-19 a daunting victory target.

Opener Cheteshwar Pujara hit 85 in the India Under-19 second innings while slow bowler Imad Waseem captured three wickets. In the Pakistan Under-19 second innings, the tourists’ fast-medium bowler Yo Mahesh claimed three wickets and skipper Piryush Chawla got two wickets with his leg breaks.
